During a week working nearby, I found myself stopping by Spillway Coffee House almost daily, appreciating their early 6 a.m. opening and welcoming, casual atmosphere. The menu offered everything from all-day breakfast to hearty lunches, and I particularly enjoyed the hot apple cider and wild rice soup on chilly days, though next time I'll opt for seasoned potatoes over the slightly greasy hashbrowns. The service was friendly and efficient despite a bit of wait, and while it leaned toward the pricier side, the quality and variety of food and drinks made it worth the visit.
