I've been to Torna's a few times for their pizzas, always sticking with the classic cheese and pepperoni which are consistently tasty. The place has a nostalgic vibe, reminding me of childhood pizzerias in my neighborhood. The Sicilian slice with extra sauce was a pleasant surprise, and I'll definitely be back for more.

let me just start by saying that they never have anything in supply. Everytime I ordered something they didn't have it. Even when I asked them to put hot bread in the bag with my spaghetti I was told they had no bread. wat kind of Pizzaria has no bread? I order some fried calamari and it was burnt and tastes horribly Like I was chewing rubber bands. the store itself is very unsanitary. It looks very unclean and not well put together. I was even given an attitude when I called them back because they forgot part of my order, which I was charged for. the delivery guy made me walk 4 blocks to pick up my food because he didn't want to come to the part of town where I lived. Talk about discrimination. The service in this place is just point blank terrible.

torna's is hoboken royalty. no one and i mean no one in the world makes a sicilian like them... older ovens, old traditional family, great mom n pop quality... i LOVE torna's forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to Torna's for over 20 years now. I was addicted to the sicilian pies. I would get one everyday during lunch in high school. After a long haitus (I just moved back to Hoboken) I went to buy a sicilian pie. I was VERY disappointed. I was informed that the original owner had moved, and his family was managing it now. They definately let the place go. The atmosphere is a health inspectors nightmare, the food...I just cant stand the food now. The Sicilian had barely any cheese. Plus the dough tasted bad. I chalked that one up to poor preperation by one of the many kids who worked there. I ordered another one a few months after, and the same thing happen. The dough tastes spoiled and there was barely any cheese. It was just very disappointing. Also the meatball Parm used to be LOADED with sauce and cheese, now its just dry. I wont be going back there anytime soon.

Food is consistantly good, I've ordered from here since the late 80's and it's delish! The only issue I have is that they also consistantly run out of items...which I really do not understand...broccoli no less??? anyhoo if they kept up on their supply for demand this would be the ideal place to order from. The eat in is a little dated, but the food is REALLY good and the price is great!
