I really hate to be the devils advocate here with all of the 5 star reviews, However as a previous Marriott food service manager I must raise a red flag against this establishment. A party of two and we ordered 8 0z filet mignon med rare with shrimp, bake potato and salad also prime rib dinner med rare with baked potato and salad. The filet came pounded and well done and the waitress did not know to take the entire plate, but wanted to only return the meat leaving no suitable place to leave the potato and shrimp but on the table. I convinced her to take the entire plate with a little coaxing. the order was returned with cold shrimp and a suitable steak (med well). The shrimp had to be peeled or eat the peel. The prime rib was med well and room temperature. The au jus was dissolved bullion cubes and both baked potatoes would not melt butter. The horseradish sauce(?) had absolutely no horseradish and had a bit of (no taste). According to the waitress, the prime rib was (had some left) whatever that meant, but assuming it was reconstituted in lettuce leaves and was firm and dry i ordered balsamic and olive oil for my salad and the olive oil definitely had some age as did the balsamic vinegar. I requested to speak with the chef and was informed that He/She was much too busy to come downstairs to the dining room, therefore I assume this was a one person operation . With two margaritas the tab amounted to 67.00 plus tax. I would expect much more in quality for the price charged in Moorefield WV. The outcome for me alone was three days of abdominal distress and a STRONG desire to warn off anyone considering this establishment.
