On Friday evening, I enjoyed free admission to the Morgan Library and Museum from 5 to 7 pm with prior online reservation, admired the bright, airy interior with high ceilings and skylights while exploring exhibits, then relaxed at the cafe located in the sunlit atrium where live jazz was playing, savoring a variety of reasonably priced snacks, wines, and cocktails served by attentive staff, including a delicious Hobbit-themed tea set and tasty dishes like the smoked salmon and Impossible burger, appreciating the upscale yet comfortable ambiance despite some minor service and cleanliness issues, making it an ideal spot for lunch, tea, or a casual business meeting without needing museum admission.
