The food is great. The Ropa Vieja is made like Mother was that kitchen. The Brunch, what can I say I never leave hungry or with a smile on my face $15 bottomless Bloody Mary's, Mimosa's or Bellini Mimosa's and Eggs Benedict or the mini taco are the best. Friday night they have Karaoke, I love to go because you never know you or what going to happen. I have went been going for year. They have made change but all for the best.

I went to this restaurent and it was great. Best mojito and coconut shrimp. I would recomend this restaurent.

the food was amazing they had vegetarian burgers the atmosphere and service was great i would definetely recomend this restaurent.

The Hard Grove Cafe has a huge menu with some strange vegetarian options (e.g. vegetarian "chicken" and vegetarian "beef"). However, the service is very poor. After waiting for one hour after finishing our appetizers, we decided to leave. As we were getting our jackets, our entrees (a salad and a quesadilla no less!) finally arrived. Also, after watching our beverages sit at the bar for approximately 30 minutes, the hostess delivered them to us.

Jersey City has many fantastic restaurants and dining options. Hard Grove Cafe is not one of them.

I'm not of Cuban heritage so some of the dishes weren't to my taste...but some were really amazing (cuban sandwitch and cuban burger)....overall you'll get the most selection and most food for your money compared to other restaurants around. I always sit outside in the summer and it feels like i'm hanging out in miami. love the atmosphere. Service is friendly...they cater to my dog..can't comlpain :)

I went there for lunch and it is a very nice place to eat. I ordered the Cuban hot pressed sandwich and it tasted really good. I felt it was a good value and a great place to stop by for food. I would go back there again.
