Feb 18th 2024 snowbird season in Yuma so my husband & I know restaurants are very busy. We choose Black Bear Diner because the reviews were good. But our experience was not ...Sunday about 1:30 pm..From Beginning to end, poor service, debris & food all over the dinning room floor, spreading on the bottoms of customer & employees shoes. Really simple order for 2 adults, 1 Reuben & 1Turkey Club sandwiches with 2 waters.The French fries soggy & limp, coleslaw soupy. The meat did not taste fresh. Food arrived but had to ask for silverware & napkins which came later. No one ever asked how are meal was & if we needed anything? No one came to give us a Bill to pay, we hunted down a passing employee who took us to the register . No clue to what we owned, poor communication between employees. Our 1st time at BBD & our last. Poor service, food & cleanliness.
