While dining on Hamburger Thursday night last week had a different outcome to our meal. Ordered a hamburger medium rare with pepper jack cheese. The hamburger came well-done with no cheese. I told the waiter and showed him the hamburger and thought he would offer to cook another one or at least bring me cheese and his reply was you'll have that sometimes. We also ordered a burrito and when they served it we were informed that they didn't have any clean silverware. I asked him how are you supposed to eat this wet burrito with no silverware. His answer was we don't have any. I said do you have a plastic spoon or anything it's kind a hard to eat it with your hands. He did bring us a plastic spoon. When the bill came there was a $.50 charge for the cheese. I said I didn't get any cheese and I showed you that. The waiter said I have no way to take that off. I said ask your manager I'm not going to pay for cheese if I didn't get any . He came back and said there's no way to take that off your bill. I stated again I'm not paying for cheese I didn't get, please go get your manager. He said we don't have one I said ask the bartender then! He came back and again said there is no way to remove the extra charge. Not a good night! This is the third time this summer we have been told there is no silverware. Not sure what is going on but we are done going for a while.

HOSSIER BREADED TENDERLOIN

When ever you visit Indiana, you have a moral responsibility to have a breaded-tenderloin sandwich, because Indiana is the breaded-tenderloin-sandwich capital of the entire world.

I am a Board Certified Spiritual Guide of breaded-tenderloin sandwiches, having devoted much of my Hoosier dining for the last 70 years of my life to this noble pursuit.

And I am more than pleased to announce that I just discovered the restaurant that serves the largest and maybe the best breaded tenderloins in the civilized world, as we know it today.

PS And though I'm not certified on this particular topic, it's possible that they have the world's best breaded onions. Also check out their chips, which you might prefer to standard French fries.

Great atmosphere! Great staff with excellent service! Great food and cold beer! Love that it's right next to the bowling alley!
