We had the police called on us when we objected to the mandatory 20% tip that was added without informing us. This was while we were calmly trying to negotiate this amount and had offered probably 12 and went to 14%. The service wasn't particularly good.
If you want to eat at a place, it will call the police on you when you object to a tip they add that they don't inform you about, this is your place!
For breakfast, I would suggest walk into the Tropicana and eat at the Hash House, I think it might be called Hash House a gogo. With the mandatory tip, you will pay the same price, get way better service, and much better food. House house is right by the boardwalk on the lower level. For dinner go to Tony's Baltimore Grill on Atlantic Avenue nearby.

I was there today .I ordered the meat lovers omelet and was told it would cost $11.95. We also ordered the banana walnut french toast for $10.95. We both ordered a cup of tea.We were served a cup of hot water with a tea bag attached to the side of the cup.We then ordered a second cup.The waitress took the check she had already put on the table and then put it back on the table. It also had no prices on the check. When I went to pay the bill I was told it was $39.95. I was floored. She said the omelet was $16.95, french toast $10.95 and 4 cups of tea at $2.50 a cup ! Will not go back !
