I love this place

Made a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. The reservation was for 17 at 6 pm the next day. They required I put down a down payment. I had to prepay for all 17 of the guests"¦which came to $490. When we arrived 10 minutes to 6 we were shoved off. Then 10 minutes after 6pm the hostess said they did not have a table for us because of other guests. We waited to be seated till 6:30 pm. We were also told no one wrote down our reservation, which I pre paid for and gave my credit card number for. I would not have been as upset if I did not put down a reservation and a down payment of $490.00. The hostess was very defensive and rude when I had any type of complaint about the lateness or lack of assertiveness to solve this problem. We then received less than stellar service. It took the bar 35 minutes to tell me they didn't have tonic after ordering my drink, then 15 extra minutes to receive said drink. The food is good, but we were hardly ever tended to; I suppose because of our large table or possibly my assertiveness at the hostess stand. They actually stopped coming to
my side of our large and profitable table. After we sat down they had no issues seating multiple parties of 12-16 people . Usually I love this place, and have had a good time before; but this was a deal breaker.
