Arriving just before closing, I was still warmly greeted and served promptly. I opted for a turkey and cheese on rye and a roast beef and cheese on sourdough, though the turkey was a bit disappointing in its processed taste and texture. Despite this, the sandwiches were still better than fast food options and the friendly staff made the experience enjoyable. I appreciated the quality meats and cheeses, and while the sodas were overpriced, I found the overall value to be worth a return visit to this clean and inviting deli in downtown Freeport.
