If I could give this restaraunt a 0 star rating I would. We stopped by the Lexington VA IHOP before we got on the road to head back to Baltimore. When we walked up to the entrance I spoke, the girl looked me dead in my face and replied "How many people". That is verbatim how I was greeted. That should have been my sign to take my family else where. Our waitress did come to the table fairly quickly and took our drink order. My husband and 3yr old both got apple juice. BOTH of their drinks had things floating in them. It was A LOT of things from white chunky specks to black things FLOATING in it. My husband found our waitress and she replaced it with the same straws we already opened. So she didnt even replace them with new cups or straws. She said she told the staff to replace the juice in the back. Second and third red flag not even 5mins apart. Our food came shortly after. My husband was finishing up his meal and under his final sausage was lint AND hair. He, once again, had to locate our waitress and he took the plate to her at the front of the restaraunt. She replied, "you should have told me sooner". Perhaps we should have done a full inspection prior to eating because how dare we expect clean food automatically. We found the manager and we made a complaint only for him to shrug us off and take 3.95 off our $75 order, which he gave to the waitress to bring back to us. I have never left a review but this one definitely deserved one. This was a TERRIBLE experience having it been our first time to VA and this location.
