IVAR'S RIVER PUB DISCRIMINATES AGAINST WOMEN!!!!!

I was floating with 4 other of my friends on the river of the afternoon of June 19th 2019. We all decided we would like to go to Ivar's River Pub. Two females out of the group (including myself) were wearing a t-shirt, shoes, and swimsuit bottoms. Another female was wearing a camisole and shorts and the two other males were wearing t-shirts, and swim trunks. We pulled up to the pub and walked inside to get seated. The hostess immediately said that we couldn't be seated inside because two of us weren't wearing shorts but she said we could be seated outside. That's completely fine. Keep in mind this business is marketed towards people coming off of the river. There is NO sign that says they you have to be wearing a shirt, shoes, or shorts. We are seated, order appetizers, drinks, and entrees. While waiting for the food I needed to use the bathroom, so me and another female of the party headed inside. The bathroom is located two feet from the hostess station to the side, you do not have to walk through the restaurant whatsoever to go to the bathroom, or past any tables. We walk in to go to the bathroom and again a hostess immediately comes up to me and says I am not allowed to use the bathroom because I do not have any shorts on. I say that I am literally only coming in because I need to walk the two feet in and use the bathroom and then will immediately leave. There is no outside bathroom, only the one inside. She insists that she will get in trouble if she let's me go. My friend pulls me away and we use the bathroom and walk out. The other two males in our party are upset when we tell them what happened so they go inside to speak to a manager. The owner comes out and is threatening them to kick them out, is pointing his fingers inches away from their faces, and is overall acting completely inappropriate as someone who is in charge and owns a business. This is NO way to treat paying customers with a $130 bill. The bill was being paid for by one person, and to completely yell and disrespect a paying customer who has money and friends that he can recommend or dissuade from coming is just plain stupid as it is unprofessional. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and disrespectful. If you truly do not want people that are wearing any sort of swimsuit coming to your establishment at least make a sign, or tell people they won't be served at all if they are wearing any item of swimsuit that doesn't have a cover up. How is it fair that I can pay them for appetizers, drinks, and entrees but am refused, discriminated, and disrespected out of using the bathroom that I am paying for. This establishment is a joke, I am in the process of getting a lawyer and suing this the owner for this behavior. I have never been more humiliated or embarrassed for something I AM PAYING FOR. Do NOT eat here if you are a feminist or have respect for people especially women because the workers and owners are condescending and ignorant of women's bodies. Please take this into consideration the next time you consider spending your money here, Grins is another great option that serves similar food but has a respectful and professional staff. Thanks for your time reading this. Also as we were leaving the establishment we were mocked at by the staff and owner who were waving us "goodbye". You call this a business? I call this a sexist pub that needs to reevaluate how their service is towards their paying customers.
