I spent most of my life in Las Cruces and always enjoyed Burger Time. In the past few years on my visits back to town, I have noticed the restaurants have become run down and dirty, the kitchens are a mess and supposedly infested with roaches (at least that is the local rumor), and the customer service has taken a turn for the worse. Mr. McGrath has always been a charitable supporter of the community, but has put nothing back into his restaurants. Food is still ok, but I refuse to eat in a dirty place. Clean them up and update them a little would go a long way. I don't see much of a future for Burger Time if changes aren't made. I would hate so see a icon of the Las Cruces area go away.

The food is pretty good. Especially the burrito's and rolled taco's with queso. HOWEVER, the service has to be the absolute WORST in town!! The north main location has the most horrible customer service I think I have ever recieved. They are always rude, not friendly, and probably could care less if they lose business. The only reason I ever stop there is because it's right by my house, but after my last experience there this week, I'll just drive a little further to get good food and good service!!

I love Las Cruces. It's not often that I can go to a place with a name like Burger Time and get an amazing burrito. My dad lived in LC for 11 years and told me about this place, so I made a detour there on my way to Phoenix. I got a burger (which was quite good, by the way) and some little beef filled cheese smothered corn tortilla things that were outstanding. On my way back to Texas I stopped by again and got a ground beef and potato burrito and a fajita burrito. These last two are really why I'm writing this review. Freaking outstanding. I had eaten them both before I even got to the Missile Range over the mountain. I leave for Phoenix again tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to wolfing some more down. IT'S BURGER TIME SON!!!!!!
