This cozy little spot serves up some seriously delicious red cheese enchiladas that might just be the best in southern New Mexico-add an egg on top for a flavor boost that's hard to beat. The friendly service, especially from Richard who took care of us, made lunchtime feel like a warm family reunion, and those fluffy sopapillas were the perfect sweet ending. With authentic flavors, tasty rice and beans, and a glimpse into Las Cruces history through old photos on the wall, this local favorite has definitely earned a permanent spot on my must-eat list.

My dad and I used to eat their regularly. Last week I ate there Chili Rellaous were great and I will be back.

Despite the name, there really isn't any Spanish food in this restaurant. It is a basic mom & pop Mexican / New Mexican cuisine. It does, however, stand well above many of the Mexican restaurants in town. Their salsa always tastes fresh and the enchiladas, tacos, tamales, etc., are always well made and flavorful. Worth a stop if you are in the area and looking for well prepared Mexican food. Just don't expect paella or tapas!
