if I could leave no stars at all I would. ZERO STARS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I frequent Mexicali Fresh but tonight my server & service was the worse service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have no words. From the start we walked in & and stood at the door for about 10 minutes no one at the hostess stand to seat us. Our waitress (idk her name bc she never introduced herself) had short red har in a bob cut. When we finally sat she gave us menus & walked away. 10-15minutes later she returned to take our drink order & never even asked for i.d. btw (by this time we're ready to order food as well) we also asked her to bring napkins & plastic eatery (which we didn't receive until after about the 3rd time asking) every time she returned to our table she would pull her mask down under her chin to speak which is very disgusting.. I will fast forward through the part where she got my friend's order wrong took the plate from the table then came back & told him (with her mask down btw) "you are going to be charged for the food you didn't like anyway so do you want it back" WHY WOULD HE WANT FOOD BACK IN HIS FACE THAT YOU REMOVED FROM THE TABLE??! she even said to him "I got extra f*king cheese on that for you" & also told us "next time im going to get someone else to serve you" anyways... after we paid for the food we left her a $3 cash tip & the remainder was left on the card (despite this being the worse service in my entire like) she came to the table & said (without her mask btw) "this is for me $3 really wow guys next time I won't serve you I got a kid & you guys know that service is 20%" like whaaaatt????!?? is that something servers can say to ppl??!? im just so appalled! she then stormed off not even realizing she had a remainder tip left on the card.. we all sat there with our jaws dropped in disbelief bc we could not believe that happened!!!!!! she then came back & said "we're closed get out have to clean my station! bye you have you get! get out! ... when we asked for management we waited for 30min & he never came to speak with us we had to go find him! Management claimed to be apologetic but it seemed very insincere & he decided to mention that it was the end of he shift & he was trying to get home. long story short... spend your money ELSEWHERE we deserved to be treated alot better than that & management is just as bad as the server I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE EVER
