I found this cute little cafe by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options on the menu, which can be hard to come by on a Monday. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the food was surprisingly filling and delicious. I had a vegan pizza with a variety of toppings and it hit the spot perfectly. Definitely a gem worth checking out if you're in town and looking for some good eats.

The Good:
Pleasant atmosphere
Food has always been fresh. (That's great!)
Pleasant wait staff
Often, good soups

The Not So Good
Food often mediocre, basically far from anything special. Ive tried nearly their whole menu.
All their turkey is nitrate loaf.
Receiving your meal is slow slow slow, nearly all the time, even when few other people at tables--all of whom have been already served.
My sandwich today, was yet again thin on the ingredients inside, except for the bread and lettuce.

What I dislike most:
A cup of plain coffee is now $3.00 ($2.75 plus tax). 4 cups for the 4 of us really inflated the bill.
Even a awesome 12oz Starbucks Latte is cheaper!
Yes, It was a large cup (likely 10 oz)--but what does that matter when it was only half full???

Vicky's is a common meeting spot for local groups, so Ive eaten here many times over many years. Some things have gotten better, some not.
