Embarking on a road trip adventure to Bosque del Apache led us to the original Owl Cafe, a gem tucked away in New Mexico. The ambiance was steeped in history, with remnants of the Trinity site and Oppenheimer's legacy close by. The Green Chile Cheeseburger was a revelation, with each bite offering a symphony of flavors that captured the essence of the land of enchantment.

A couple of decades ago, we stopped in for a chile-cheesburger and fries. What a hoot...great deal and great food in a nice, out west atmosphere.
