Traveling from Taos to Albuquerque for barbecue is always worth it, especially when the pork ribs arrive juicy and tender, complemented by a smoky beef rib that's bursting with flavor and a sauce that ties everything together perfectly. Sampling the five-meat combo left us with generous portions and memorable sides like crispy fried okra and flavorful black-eyed peas, all served with attentive service and a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.

The food is terrific but can't hold a candle to the view especially if you are lucky enough to be there at sunset and after dark. The barbecue is great and the potato salad is the best I've ever had.
All around fun place, dress is casual, of course.
