Living in Placitas, this store is my go-to for last-minute essentials and fresh local goodies like bread, deli items, and tasty steaks. The staff knows the community well and offers friendly service, plus there's a solid selection of wine and homemade foods that make stopping by worthwhile. While the stock can be limited and prices a bit higher than big-box stores, it's a convenient and welcoming spot that truly supports the neighborhood.

It's always a relief to have The Merc nearby for those quick necessities, even if they may be occasionally low in stock. The convenience of being able to grab what you need without venturing into town is truly a lifesaver, and the caring community vibe at The Merc makes it a standout gem in Placitas.

Love your pizza...and that you are open Sundays n Mondays (not Tuesdays) when many are closed...very friendly hosting and atmosphere. Much appreciated in our community
