The restaurant had a clean and inviting atmosphere, with prompt service and quick food preparation. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak, especially the flavorful white gravy and homemade-tasting potatoes. Despite the warning about the price of soft drinks, the overall dining experience was positive, and I look forward to returning.

02/10/2021 - Unhappy Anglo
Went to Pinos and received no service: no water, no menus, nothing. This was last year, before the onset of the Covid virus. Everyone around us was served and attended to so we could only figure it's because we aren't Hispanic. We were not impatient- we waited 15 minutes to be sure.
If you're Anglo, skip this place. We left Las Vegas and headed back to Albuquerque and picked up junk food on the way home. Probably won't be visiting Las Vegas when the virus is conquered. A big disappointment. We were on our way home after a great trip to Yellowstone and really wanted some great New Mexican food. Oh well.
