great place

We just purchased $50.00 worth of sea scallops from Platt's and had them deep fry them for us. We are very unhappy . The scallops have a very bitter taste to the point of being uneatible , not the sweetness of other scallops we have had. Feel as if I wasted my money , but will never return to purchase any seafood. Tasted like they were soaked in a chemical .Hoping we won't get sick from this experience. Thought they were a good place, but know different now. Anyone else have the same complaint ?
