This is the best breakfast place!!! I and 3 others were on vacation together in Michigan City IN from the Kansas City area. We were in town for 3 days and we had breakfast at the Sugar Bowl all 3 days. The food was really good and plentiful - plus a very low price for what you were given to eat. Our group had french toast, pancakes, omelets, biscuits and gravy, frittatas and skillets. Everyone felt that this was one of the best breakfast places we had ever dined. You owe it to yourself to eat there if you are in Michigan City, IN.

Great food and an outstanding staff make this a required go to place to enjoy fine dinning.

We enjoy the lovely family feeling of your restaurant and try to visit whenever we are in the area.
However , I need to ask you to insist that your staff especially the food servers cover their noses with the
mask. We asked our server to do so, she did, but promptly let it slip below her nose and did not bother
to cover herself even after we mentioned it.
No point in wearing a mask if you do not wear it properly. It is to protection for us all.

A surprise price increase which is not revealed in the menu. $3-$4 added to each entree but not disclosed in the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. Discontinued senior discount since reopening after coronavirus quarantine. Price gouging at its best. If you have to raise prices or discontinue discounts then post those changes and print new menus.
