I've visited this food truck a few times and have always left satisfied. They only accept cash, but it's worth it for their extended Sunday hours - open until around 10pm when many other local eateries close up by 9pm. The food is consistently good, the staff are friendly, and the whole experience of ordering and eating either on the curb, in your car, or at a nearby bench is just enjoyable. Hands down, the best tortillas in Omaha are here - soft, flavorful, and sturdy enough for all the fillings. The cabeza and asada tacos are highlights, though the al pastor could use a bit more pineapple. And don't forget to try their horchata - it's sweet, creamy, and has just the right amount of cinnamon. All in all, El Chavo is definitely in my top 3 for Mexican food in Omaha. The tortas and tacos are my go-to choices, the service is great, and the place is always clean and welcoming.
