The Scoop in Eastern Passage just recently reopened after moving across the street to their new location. The inside is quite nice with a soda bar and lots of desserts. We ordered Fish & Chips. We were able to sit outside at the picnic table. Nicely spaced. However, the Fish & Chips were just OK. The fish was very dry, unlike really fresh Haddock which is flaky and the layers are delicate and have a shiny appearance. Perhaps it was previously frozen. The fries were not overly warm and were more like pieces at the bottom of the fryer. The gravy was clearly a mix that was super salty. The best Fish & Chips are at Masstown Market just past Debert. Just saying. Sorry! I was expecting better.
