Food is delicious

I was introduced to this fantastic place by my brother Larry -a fire fighter from Slidell. Our family trips to Slidell from Florida now always include a visit to Macbe's. Such a fantastic spot! Perfect seafood! Love the crawfish trays! Planning to stop in when we come for Mardi Gras in February!

I have never had bad food there. It is a small mom and pop restaurant, good fresh seafood, and the best and cheapest shrimp po-boy around-foot long dressed and full of shrimp for 7.99! It's all about the food, little, crowded, no extra room, sometimes a little waiting because of it, and worth it. mmmmmmmm

The food is amazing....they know how to prepare seafood ! The "boat" is awesome !!!!! We ate 'til we were miserable ;-) then ate a couple meals from our left-overs. The staff is friendly. WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN (and again and again) .
