Our 15 member women's group met at the restaurant for a holiday lunch. One member noticed that her Italian wedding soup was made with spinach (not escarole) with the golf-size meat balls cut up in quarters and another member bit into the raw dough in the center of her stuffed bread. After the kind waiter was notified, the cook, who is also the owner of the restaurant, startled us by yelling loudly at our group angry about our complaint. Even though one member asked him not to yell several time, he continued uncontrollably interfering with our Christmas celebration. After he calmed down, one member approached him and was able to extract an apology. Even though a $10 coupon was offered as a sign of his apology, most of us left with knots in our stomach. It was truly a distasteful experience.
