Love the food. All of it. Nice atmosphere and nice employees. Great crowd of customers too

My wife and I were driving back from New York to St. Louis. We decided to get off the Interstate to see some Pennsylvania countryside. It was getting dark and we were hungry. We were about to pass the Tower Ridge Inn when my stomach slammed on the brakes. We weren't sure what to expect as the parking lot had several well-loved pickup trucks. We walked in, saw the restaurant closed, but bar open. My wife exclaimed, "What did we walk into?" Not sure at first, but when we left, pure dining excellence! Delicious homemade onion soup, salad with house dressing, pulled pork sandwich and beer batter fries -- doesn't get any better. Oh, wait, yes it does -- the owner/bartender/waitress and the customers shuffled bar stools to make room as we engaged in a memorable social experience worth driving from St. Louis to enjoy. We thought we had joined a live episode of "Cheers!" where everybody knew everybody's name, and my the time we left ours as well.
