This particular location has a real problem with hiring people who know how to listen. More times than I can remember when I would get to the window my order would be wrong. The people they hire are teenage kids that have no courtesy or respect for an older adult. When you get upset because you have to correct the order. They seem to think it is funny. Today I had to correct the girl taking the order and when I told her that all she had to do was listen. While I was sitting in line the girl that smart mouthed me walked up to the back of the bldging and could hear what I was saying to myself out loud. I had not seen her walking up to the bldging. She then started smart mouthing me again while I was still sitting in my car. At this point she continued her smart mouthing. At this point I had had enough and I told her that she could take her wokeism and cancel culture crap and stick it. I then drove up to the window. When I got to the drive up window I asked to speak to the manager. She came to the window and told me to go around to the other side of the bldging so we could talk. When she came out ( A middle aged Indian woman and a middle aged black woman. Keep this in mind. I have Tourettes and one of my tics is talking loudly. I am also an adult white male.) When she got to my window I started telling her my side. At this point she told me not to talk so loudly. When I get upset, my voice gets even louder. This is called waxing. When it calms down this is called waning. I could quickly tell that she was unwilling to listen to anything I had to say. She kept making excuses for her employee and I could tell it. The second time she complained about my voice. I told her to backup so I could finish what I was saying. At this point she cut me off and walked away. I found out later that she called the police and wanted to have me arrested for criminal trespass.
I never got the chance to try to tell her about my Tourettes. Talk about blatant discrimination. .
