We had purchased food from here before, and had bought a gift certificate. It was $10 for $20 value, and was sold as never expiring. We did not use it for a while and then when Covid 19 hit, we thought we'd wait and use it after things reopened so as not to burden the small restaurant with the half price deal. So we decided to use it on Father's Day. I ordered the food, but when I went to pick it up and use the gift certificate, I was told it was no good. They did not even offer to give me credit for the $10 I had paid for it. I went ahead and paid for the food anyway, but feel like I was cheated out of $10.

The food was not as good as before - it seemed the portions were smaller and there were no crunchy fried parts of the carnitas as usual. My husband fried the carnitas a bit and improved them a lot. The salsa was runny with no body, The food was good - but not great.
