***WARNING*** DO NOT BOOK A PARTY AT SEAFARER WITHOUT READING THIS FIRST.

The Seafarer is run by a completely dishonest General Manager, Rob.

My wife booked her 40th birthday party here three months prior to the event in the private party area. Her sister communicated regularly with the event coordinator prior to the event. According to the event planner, everything was ready to go and out space was reserved. We had a list of around 25 people, catering deposits, save the dates, etc. We are all busy people with kids and getting all of my wife's best friends out for her 40th is no small task with young kids.

One week prior to the event, I reached out to the General Manager, Rob. Luckily, I got his number when we met him in person two months prior to the event. Rob let me know that we no longer had the space as a group of 60 people took priority over us. This group of 60 came in after we made our reservation as we had confirmed with Rob on our dates. No phone call to us. No notification. Had I not reached out, we would have just showed up with no party area.

DO NOT PLAN AN EVENT HERE unless you plan to cross your fingers and hope Rob does not sell you out to a higher bidder. Not only has this left a bad taste in my mouth, but I will be telling every person this summer about this experience in hopes that they learn that being a standup human is still important.

Luckily, we have found a different venue one week prior to the event. Never going to this place again ever. PARTY PLANNERS BEWARE.
