The closure of this establishment marks the end of an era, leaving a noticeable void for those who appreciated its eclectic Italian and seafood offerings. With stunning views of the bay and mountains, the atmosphere was always inviting, making me hopeful that a new culinary venture will soon take its place in this beautiful locale.

I wanted so much to love this place. A friend, who had been an integral part of the establishment's initial funding, had recommended it to us, as we were going camping in the state park and wanted to sample the local fare.

First, some positives: the people were most friendly, kind, and helpful. One person who ably shepherded people to menu choices, nearly all were pizzas, and tables. He, in particular, offered a very good sales pitch for the chef's salmon crudo item, which was one of my choices. I also asked for the beet and greens salad, along with a Negroni. My partner had a margherita pizza and a beer. The pizza's toppings were perfect. The size of my salad was quite large, as were the lengths of the greens' stems and the chunks of beets, which had a most sweet, delicious flavor. The place was clean, nicely decorated, and the lines moved along nicely, thanks to the efficiency of the fellow who touted the salmon crudo. The view was wonderful, following a simply awesome day and ensuing sunset.

Sadly, those offered comments above are just about all the positives to offer you. My partner's pizza was just all right. The crust had a good flavor and needed a bit more cooking on the slab. The shock was that my very beanie serving of salmon crudo, accompanied with a couple of miniscule shavings of limp, sad-looking fennel had absolutely zero taste. Nope. Nary a taste either with the fennel--difficult for fennel not to have any flavor or taste, folks. The greens also lacked taste, even though there was a light white covering to the dish. Zero seasoning. I appreciate when the final seasoning of s & p is left up to the customer; but no seasoning? No flavor? Nope--I didn't have COVID! I brought some of our meal back for our daughter to try. She was simply surprised and a bit upset at the lack of quality of the small dish (I'd had two bites; my partner had one, before we boxed it up). Never mind that it was expensive for the quality as well as the quantity. In addition, the Negroni was fair at best--now how can one take all those ingredients and misuse, rather than showcase them? Well, it would seem that neither the chef nor the bartender simply showed up that day. Actually, the bartender showed up to send over my partner's can of beer. The Pfriem was quite refreshing. So that's it, folks. Tasteless treatment of seafood and greens recommended by one of their own ought to tell you something about trying out this place. Do so at your tastebuds' peril and hard work to throw away good cash, when they ought to have paid us to eat there instead. We are so incredibly disappointed.
