A great find! Stopped by for lunch and wasn't expecting to find this little restaurant in the corner of a small complex. Not easily seen from the street, but definitely worth a stop if you're hungry. Max's has one of the best authentic braised chicken I've had. perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sides aren't bad either. A quarter chicken and hefty two sides for about $7. Not bad! I tried the yucca and black beans, yucca was fried perfectly. With a variety of side options available, I'll definitely be back to try more! Not to mention, the owner is such a sweet older gentleman, you can definitely tell that he cares about his food.
