Fina!ly got to try WPG 1st time Saturday after Women's Show at Tacoma Dome. First, the f!oor was very slippery causing me to be unstable walking to my table and restroom. Ordered the blackboard special Sloppy M, with corned beef on pretzel bun and beer cheese. Couldn't find the beer cheese so asked server and she checked with the cook who said it was mixed in. Final straw was when the server asked how our meal was.I to!d her it didn't seem to be corned beef but rather simply highly salted shredded beef . She said but did you enjoy it anyway. I was quick to emphasis a definite no. All she said was Oh, sorry to hear that and walked off. Then my partner was charged for a different sandwich that the server assured was cheaper than her original order...Surprise! It was at least $1.60 more. First time I Could not finish my meal. Won't be back and will warn others.

I have enjoyed 5 different meals at the West Pioneer Grill and yet have not been disappointed. The ingredients of each dish were fresh and proportionately seasoned. If your preferences lean toward hard to find quality soups, then this is your place. Very friendly staff and thorough service. Kudos to the Chef.
