My husband and I love Leyla's, have been going here since it first opened. Our favorite is the Fried chicken Zinger with Jalapenos and Jalepeno sauce. Yummy!!

Unfortunately this isn't going to be a good review and I like to start out with all the positive attributes before I let people know what the opportunities are.
Placed an order around 6:30 PM and all went well with placing the order over the phone. I was told it was going to be 30 minutes. No big deal, Saturday night 6:30, I am sure it is right around the time of the big rush. I pull up at 7:00 and let them know that I am here to pick up the food. I go ahead and pay for the food and leave a nice tip, I want to support local as much as possible and I am in the hospitality business so I understand when the prime time for the rush is.
This is were things take a wrong turn. I wait for an additional 15-20 minutes and still no food, as I walk up to the window they ask me my name again and say a few more minutes. OK, I can deal with the additional wait. 10 minutes later calls my name and hands me 3 out of the 4 items that I ordered and said, the last one will be a few more minutes, we had to switch out propane tank out and it is cooking. Well 15-20 minutes later and it still isn't done. I know that it doesn't take 15 minutes to cook the chicken kebab, the chicken is roughly 2-3 oz little medallions, rice is already cooked, more than likely sitting in a steam well or a rice cooker and the hummus is already made, and the lettuce, tomato and cucumbers are already prepped for the day as the are used in multiple applications. I let them know that I would like to have everything remade as the food that I already received was gonna be cold by the time I got it home. No push back from them, they just asked that I bring the already made food back to them, sure no problem. Wait an additional 15-20 minutes and the finally call my name and once again give me the one dish that I didn't receive the from the original wait and said it they were wrapping up the rest, give me a minute. Well true to there word the rest of the order was done and off I go, but mind you the food took over an hour from the time I arrived till the time a finally got my completed order.
So I get home and start to unpack the food. Seems like all is there, but I am questioning to myself did they just take the original 3 items and just rewrap them and repack them and give them to me. My gut says yes, but as much as I tried to watch them when they took it back didn't get to see what they did with the food. Let's just say the food didn't live up to the expectation. I am not going to go into the small details on each dish, but if it were at my establishment I would have been embarrassed to serve it, and would have told the guest that this one is on us since we messed up and make sure to double check the order and make sure that I won the guest over and apologize for the excessive length of time it took for the food.
Needless to say, you have more than likely lost a customer as the food shouldn't have been served to a paying guest and there was no apology for the mess up or any acknowledgement on Leyla's part owning the mistake and trying to make it right
