What a pleasant surprise; fine dining at Lake Milton, and in a nondescript cement block building with a gravel parking lot. Go figure. The Prop House has excellent food made by true chefs and delicious homemade deserts made by one of the owners. The chef used to own the Fifth Season, and knows what he's doing. The steaks are top shelf too. The only problem is they do not open until 4, are closed Mon & Tue, and on a nice summer evening you sometimes cannot get a table. Yes, I wish the parking lot was paved, and they were open more, and it was larger, but it's worth taking a chance - we drive over an hour, it's that good. (Unfortunately they do not take reservations).

The food and the service was awesome! The steak was incredible! Yum! We're actually going back tonight for dinner!

Stopped up on 3/25/2022 around 5:30 pm and was closed up. What's happening? We love this place and food is delicious

Good Restaurants mix great food, great people with a great setting. Hospitable owners who are friendly and personable while allowing you to have your own dining experience makes this restaurant an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Add the potential to cruise to their very own docks and walk the paved path to the front door gives it the true Lake experience.
