We just finished breakfast, and it was exactly what I asked for. The omelette was done perfectly, with plenty of veggies. I asked for my corned beef hash to be done crispy, and it was. The blueberry pancakes my husband ordered were large and fluffy and loaded with blueberries. Our waitress, Missy, could not have been more welcoming or efficient. We will definitely be back!

We have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Johnny Cakes and have never been disappointed. The waitresses are friendly and care about their customers. The food is good, and I've never had a bad meal there. The owner stops making personal calls at each table. She's never too busy to let you know she is glad you have chosen to eat at her establishment although there are many others in the area. Johnny Cakes & Steaks is well worth a visit and take out.

The food sucks. They've got a few friends writing good reviews for them, but just pass by the place and it's empty most of the time. Locals know the food is lousy and they go to other nearby restaurants. This place has never had a chef or a good cook. The owner argues with you when she knows the food sucks, that's while I'll never go back.

Me and My wife went in there the other night and I got to say it was one of the worst experince I ever had . First of all the waitresses was arguing and complaining. We started with one and then she was leaving and then got another. The first one never did leave she just sat around and complained. Then we got our food and it wasn't that good at all. I got the ribeye and it was very thin and tasteless. It had no seasoning and it taste like it was a poor quilty and cheap meat. it didn't even taste like a steak. The veggies was dry and no seasoning, The Jonny cake was very dry and that is what the name is about ( Jonny Cakes & steaks) REALLY and it wasn't any good. I will not go back there and don't recamend any one does. it was over priced for what you got. I don't normally rite reviews but I think every one should know how nasty the experance was. I am a chef and know what food should taste like and this place it's it.
