After making a couple of 60-mile trips on an early Saturday morning, I discovered that the old-fashioned donuts and coffee rolls are truly exceptional, with the coffee roll being my favorite due to its perfect texture and intact icing, and though my first visit at 8:40 am on a Wednesday found low supply but no lines, the assortment I tried-including the filled donuts and a delectable Boston cream-was fresh and delicious, and I appreciated the great value and friendly service, making me eager to return, especially on days when special donuts like blueberry filled are offered.

The old-fashioned donuts and coffee rolls can be stored in the freezer, though I recommend this only for those specific items. My personal favorite is the coffee roll, with its perfect combination of doughy texture, crispy crust, and intact icing. A visit on a Wednesday morning revealed a lack of lines but limited supply, making it important to arrive early to ensure selection availability.
