Stopped here on a whim, and could not be happier. Purchased a very large cheese filled crumb cake (under $9!), half a dozen everything rolls and a loaf of Italian bread. It all came to $14.
The cheese crumb cake was out of this world. The rolls were fresh, fragrant and delicious. The Italian bread...was surely not Italian (I am, and know what it should be like). It severely lacked the typical thick, crunchy crust. It was more like brioche bread consistency-wise. Nonetheless, it was delicious and clearly freshly baked.
The glass case on the left hand side of the shop had a delightful array of pastries, brownies, cookies, bars, and the biggest cream puffs I have seen in a while. I had to stop myself from buying one of everything. The sales clerk was very polite, helpful and had a great attitude. I will make it a point to stop there every time I'm in the area. This truly is a small business worth supporting. It may be small, but mighty for flavor, quality and service.
