Great service, nice menu selection. I ordered blackened red snapper and it was probably the best I've had anywhere. She ordered fried catfish; seasoned and fried perfectly. Veggies were great also.

On Wednesday October 13th 2021. A group of the ladies and I went to the restaurant for a birthday meal. It was eleven of us in all. We were not told that any number over 6 was a 18% gratuity. Our waitress informed us as we paid our tickets. Don't mind giving a gratuity but 18% was quite high. And it should be stated up front when we called and. And made our reservation. 1st our waitress sort of had an attitude as if she really didn't want to be there. When we arrived there was no hostess so we waited a long time for someone to tell us what to do. The food was good. Collards tasted like they were from a can. The owners were not as friendly as they were on our previous visit. We thought we had found us a nice place to eat in Albany that is different but after yesterday we don't plan to go again anytime soon.
