“ A garden we tend together.”

The way I look at it, we can and should support the places we love; and that might also include not exposing them to this virus, in case we’re carrying it. This is a call for us not to abandon restaurants out of fear, but to think creatively about how we can help cultivate our collective immunity. Not just immunity from disease, but from financial ruin; homelessness; despair. We are in this together.

That brings me to the outstanding service I have and continue to talk about to support one of my favorite restaurants. I’m a AVP Bank Manager and I know what world class service sounds and looks
Like. Bj’s Restaurant & Brewhouse located in Manchester CT has a manager who has always make sure my family, friends and myself would receive world class service.

During this pandemic, my son was hospitalized. BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is one of my favorite restaurants because of their atmosphere, cleanliness, outstanding customer service, food and especially during this pandemic.
I reached out to Bj’s Restaurant to order take out before my son was transferred from Hartford Hospital to Memorial General. John Calcaterra one of the (managers) took the extra time on his (day off) to make sure that my son was taken care of. My son and I will forever remember this because not only did John take the extra time out on his day off to commit to make sure my son was taken care of. He put a smile in my sons face during one the toughest time of his life. That will make any Mom feel good.

Their spaghetti and meatballs are better than any I've eaten at Italian restaurants! The dinner portion is large and priceworthy. Their homemade orange cream soda is delicious. I've gone to BJ's a few times, each time with different friends and they think it's a really nice place, too.
