We’re from out of town, and this place came highly recommended. This place is also featured on several YouTube channels as a great place to dine. The food was tasty, but unfortunately hearing rats scurry and squealing loudly inside the air vents is inexcusable! At first I didn’t want to believe what I was hearing, but it was impossible to ignore or mistake the high squeals of large rodents for something else. The kitchen employee that came out to replenish the buffet items noticed that everyone in the dining room heard them too, and he quickly ran back into the kitchen where I can only image he summed the dining room staff to inform them of what had happened! Having been in the food business I know that maintaining proper health standards can be taxing and challenging, but they are not impossible to implement and adhere to! Never the less those standards and practices are there to to ensure businesses owners prioritize the safety of their customers!! My wife confirmed our fears when she noticed several rodent glue traps, in the restroom! I think their accolades and notoriety have made them very complacent to the point where they’ve let their health standards falter! I placed a complaint with the local health department because they need to inspect this establishment to ensure that they are doing everything possible to ensure safe and healthy food handling practices! I hate so see a well known establishment be affected negatively so I hope they resolve this urgent matter immediately!!
