Maybe it’s an off day, but there’s no possible way this place could have 4.8 stars based on reviews. First, the waiter should never be in food. Simple requests like grenadine in Sprite is, by his words, “not allowed”, yet grenadine in Coke is perfectly fine…what? Okay, fine. Let’s skip ahead. We order appetizers and drinks. And proceed to wait, and wait, and wait……we asked for some paper napkins as well…..oh 30 minutes later, appetizers come up with a quick apology, and “now” he’s ready to take our order. We order, and it actually comes out relatively quick. The key piece of this place is that they offer fast hand cut fries with beer cheese…..food comes out, no beer cheese. So I ask if it was supposed to come with it, and he says “Yes, it does come with it, but we’re almost out”…. Uhh.. okay. How about vinegar for the fish and chips… his response “uhh.. like regular vinegar?!”. We noted just malted vinegar, and he notes “uhh..not sure we have that, but I’ll check.” He leaves and proceed to bring back 3 cups of beer cheese, and says they made a “fresh batch”….we again asked about vinegar, and he said “oh let me check again”…… surprise! This time he miraculously found some. Now to the food….uhm….no ones had any taste whatsoever. The steak has zero seasoning, was super chewy and very fatty. The fish had no seasoning either. It was like zero effort went into anything. It was by far, the worst food experience we’ve had in the GR area.

Update, if you’ve followed along….we never did get any napkins.
