Ordered for pick up, got home and realized they gave me the wrong item. Called to ask for a refund and was called a liar and hung up on. Terrible customer service. Won't be back.

I rarely give a "bad rating" somewhere. If I do, I always will give multiple chances for things to be made right and try to be patient--everyone deserves to be treated like a human being and I always try to have a diplomatic approach to tough situations. This was no different.
I just got my vaccine and was needing some food. I was shakey and all; I really really needed to eat. I live in Eagle Mountain but wanted to pay a visit to this location. I downloaded their app for easy ordering and because I know it supports the business. I get more food than I was hungry for--again, for support. Since covid, I've really been trying to help out local places as much as I can. While there is a few locations now, I do consider it local still.
I place my order and wait. And wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. I wasn't expecting it to be super fast and I was patient. But it's a slap in the face when I am watching GROUPS go in, order, get their food and come out. Then I'm watching the girls working and they are just standing there after helping the customers. It got to the point that I was like "where tf is my food?". I waited a bit longer. It was only about a $14 order. I wasn't sure why it was taking so long when it really seemed like a place where you just scoop things into a bowl...
I wasn't going in for health reasons but after over 30 minutes I felt like I had no choice. There was my order...sitting there...not being taken out. Their reasoning made no sense. They kept pointing out the time but the time for the order was ASAP...and if the order is done, it should be taken out instead of sitting on the counter. When you go into a restaurant, you pay for fresh food, not leftovers that are growing mold.
They were refusing to give me my order, refusing to give me a refund, and the whole thing was really a terrible experience. I left with no resolution or food. I am honestly assuming that the employees wanted free food on my expense.
It wasn't a terrible amount to be wrongfully charged but it is my money for something I didn't get. That feels like theft.
When I got home, I called and asked for manager contact information. I could not get anywhere. The girl on the phone was no help and told me I could find it myself. She claims she has no idea who her manager is and hung up on me. When an employee does that, you KNOW they're in the wrong.
I paid for food I didn't get and was talked down on by the employees multiple times. I was patient and nicely asked for my order. It was all turned on me so they could have a free meal at my expense. They weren't ever going to bring my food out to me if I couldn't even go in and get it from them. It's less about the money and more about the overall experience. I was never given my food, never given an apology. Never given any kind of sympathy or anything. If there is one place I will be avoiding from now on, it is here. I did nothing wrong. I was just trying to support the business and ended up getting screwed over.
