I discovered a fantastic restaurant that exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

I am saddened to say this, but would advise families with children to steer clear. The actions of the GM, Wayne, ruined our experience this evening. We have thoroughly enjoyed all of our previous experiences at Bowleys on the Bay. Staff, food, and atmosphere are all great. Our kids really like going there to be able to play in the water, and we come because it's historically been kid-friendly and all other aspects meet or exceed expectations. During our most recent trip, however, Wayne stopped every parent to scold their children for playing. We have likely all seen situations where kids are running rampant without oversight and disrupting other patrons' experiences; however, that was not at all the case in this situation. For example, Wayne approached us because our kids ran around our own table (which was immediately next to the water) one time. We and several other families left because of his behavior. The local staff was all very apologetic and made accommodations for his behavior. I hope that senior leadership will take note and drive a change in Wayne's activities.
