I finally was able to treat my brother in law, John, and my sister to my favorite Italian restaurant last night. Wow! From the service, the amazing food and drink Eatalia once again exceeded my expectations! Our server was Louna and she is one of the best! Attentive, knowledgeable and makes a delicious chocolate espresso martini!
We ordered the steak tips and cheesy garlic toast for an appetizer. The steak tips are so tender and full of flavor and delicious definitely a must as an appetizer or full meal.
The cheesy garlic toast is a perfect accompaniment for any meal. John ordered the veal piccata over fettuccine and honey mustard dressing for his salad. The salad was delicious and he raved about the veal.. sweet and tender like butter! Fettuccine was perfectly cooked. He can be hard to please so when he raves about how delicious it is you know it's good! I ordered the 18" cheese and mushroom pizza which is always absolutely delicious! The crust is so yummy which is so important for me. My sister and John also shared a slice of my pizza and he loved it.. my sister ordered the Cesar salad which was very good.
Of course we couldn't leave without sharing a slice of Nonna's tiramisu! John said I'm so full I may just have a bite! Well my sister and I were lucky to get a bite! He ate it all! Said it was the best he'd ever had! It definitely was light and creamy - it's my favorite! Louna made our favorite chocolate espresso martini which was perfectly delicious! We shared that and a bottle of wine! I offered to give 2 or 3 slices of my pizza to take home and John very quickly said Yes! We'll take them.. What a wonderful night! John, as I said, can be very hard to please - he said Eatalia is his new favorite Italian restaurant ! Yes everything was absolutely cooked perfectly and came out piping hot and was delicious! Nadia the owner came over many times to see how everything was.. they make you feel like you're part of the family! They are a very hardworking family owned and operated local restaurant and we are lucky to have them in the Golden Lakes Shops! Thank you so much for a delicious evening!
