Excellent food

Place is filthy, display case dirty, cooler condenser coil totally exposed and dripping water, food in case looked dry and old (meats were grey and totally exposed with no wrap), floors in dining room filthy, carpet should be condemned. Owner is really nice however and really trying to build her business. They really need to evaluate the atmosphere, which is humid and has an old house smell to it, and needs serious renovation and cleaning. The corned beef sandwich was good with a generous portion. A bit pricey at about $13 with no sides but a tiny pickle. The Knishes that they promote were old looking and dry, you cannot put knishes unwrapped and in the open of a humid deli case! I do wish them well, but being a fan of deli's in NYC and everywhere else, I don't see this business surviving with out complete renovation.
