The cozy cafí© tucked away on a quiet street instantly feels like a warm embrace on a chilly day. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the soft hum of quiet conversations, creating an inviting atmosphere that soothes the soul. We visited Massawa for the fist time today and were absolutely delighted with our food. We decided to order 2 dishes, one from the East African menu and one from the Mediterranean menu. Both were delicious and the portions were large enough that we brought some home. The East African meat dish was served on Injera flatbread, which we had never had before. It was so delicious!! The Mediterranean meat and hummus was also delicious, served with pita bread. The woman who served us (and also did the cooking) was very friendly. We will definitely return to try more menu items.
