Very very good NY style pizza finally in Hilo!

Went to restaurant after viewing online. Took granddaughter and she had slices of pizza and I had a six inch Philly steak and ordered a footlong to go. According to online info, six inch was $9.75 and footlong was $13.75. I was told they didn't sell footlong and I would have to take two six inch which I did. I was charged for two six inch sandwiches to go and not one footlong. I tried to check menu online today and get the message that the menu is wrong and is being updated. I think I should have been charged $13.75 for the footlong and not $19.50 for two six inch sandwiches!

Meal was great but the mixup on the pricing is a definite negative!

First off no complaints on service, cleanliness and there very nice. Now onto the review, coming from Hawaii i never had a real new York Pizza, so I had to try it. The crust is chewy yet soft( kinda made me think it needed to be cooked a little more) , the toppings are a little sparse, I had to add pepperoni and olives to there scicchitanos special, cheese is great but the pie had little or no sauce which made It a little bland for me. If this is what new York pizza is like I pass. 1 Pizza w 2 extra toppings cost $33dollars, wouldnt be a problem if the pie was amazing like the reviews said, but I feel ( just my opinion) that costcos makes a way better Pizza for 10 bucks lol hope this helps
