Growing up in Astoria in the 1960s, there was a special place under the Ditmars subway stop that holds fond memories for me. While that spot is now gone, Alba's has emerged as a wonderful destination for delicious Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. The food, service, and ambiance at Alba's are truly exceptional, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of the past in a modern setting.
