We had dinner at this restaurant on saturday night, but it is now Amici in The Cafe Toscano location on Broadway in Massapequa. I didnt know this until i arrived. I thought I was eating at Cafe Toscano with obviously, the Cafe Toscano menu. After all, it had a Cafe Toscano sign outside and the website menu hasnt reflected the change. We decided to stay anyway. We booked a 7:30 reservation. Upon arriving, the owner was quick to tell me I was too early. I arrived at exactly 7:28. He had a very long line apparently overbooking all of his reservations! Upon being seated, 60 minutes later, he never apologized, nor did he seem to care. The food was mediocre at best! Would not return as management doesnt know what they are doing. Pretty pricey and many other family style restaurants with better food and better value.

Food ok,a littlwe pricey but nice. I was given a gift card as a present---when paying the bill I was informed that only half of the amount could be applied to tonights meal and the next time I come the other half would be accepted.
A little unusual---no????
And not too nice the way this was presented to my friend and I. BEWARE of AMICI GIFT CARDS--they could ruin what would have been a more pleasant evening!!

booked a party in feb for my daughter's wedding shower,received a phone call a month ago that the party was cancelled do to a leak in the ceiling.The party was for today 6/13/10.My daughter's party was held at a different restaurant, my husband passed by amici today and there was another party being held no fixing of the roof as I was told by the owner Frank! so I say amici sucks don't book a party there.
